Space cowboys is a free for all, side-scroller couch game. The game involves from 2 up to 4 characters that are lost in space. Their goal is to escape the galaxy before someone else takes the escape pod. On the planets in the galaxy the players can find packages which can contain all sorts of items but most importantly fuel. The fuel can be used to fill up the escape pod that is floating around and if filled can be used to escape a horrifying death.

About us

For about 3 months the devs and artists of our year at DAE Howest joined forces. The objective was to create a unique video game from start to finish. Our first group project of this kind. And oh boy it was a journey!

I want to play this amazing-looking game, but I can't get past the start screen. I can't click on the "play" button, and I've pressed every key I can think of, and it won't start. What am I doing wrong?

It's been a while since we worked on this project, but if I remember correctly only the controller input has been implemented. If you have any more questions feel free to reach out!
